Picnic Tradition

Picnics have been a big tradition in our family since Jaelyn was little. We love to go on picnics and we do so atleast once a week as soon as the weather is nice. It makes for an easy lunch or supper with easy clean-up and the girls love eating outside on a comfortable blanket.

We have our favorite picnic spots, most of which are nestled in Gage Park.
They always keep Gage Park looking beautiful so the scenery while we are eating is one of the best parts.

They love waiting for the park train to come by as we are eating our picnic meal.

Part of our view.

Finlee wanted a turn too!

Together.

Since were right inside Gage Park, we usually let the girls play on a nearby playground.

Or we might even take a walk around the ponds or flower beds full or tulips or roses.

A picnic is one of the easiest traditions that you can take up with your family. It doesn't take much effort and its such a fun experience to share with your children. Make an easy, sandwich meal and let your children choose their favorite spot! Go out on a picnic and do it often! Your whole family will love you for it. I can't wait for my children to look back on this simple tradition and remember how peaceful and fun it was and to share it with their own kids someday!

Xoxo,
Tanna
