I'm trying so hard to be a good example for them. A role model. A good, loving mom so maybe one day, they will be a good mom, friend, and wife too. I'm trying to teach them lessons like how a good education can benefit them later in life. How a relationship with our Lord is the best relationship there is. That your family will always be there for you when others won't. And how to have fun no matter the circumstances, to love others how God would want you to, and to be the example, that I'm trying to be for them, to others.
I'm trying to show them how to give and take and how to work at your marriage everyday. I'm trying to teach them how to show appreciation to the man who has done so much for them. The one that goes to school, goes to work, and lives for God and them (any maybe me :) ) alone. I want them to know that I work hard to be the wife that I am to their daddy and that I love him very much and he loves us too.
I'm trying everything I can but maybe I've bitten off more then I can chew. I'm a young wife and mom, student, and friend. I love my life and am blessed by everything I've been given but maybe, just maybe, I'm in over my head this time around.
Instead of stressing over everything today, I decided that today is the day that I'm just going to hand it over to God. I know He wouldn't give me more than I can handle but I'm just giving it all back to Him. Struggles, stressors, problems...everything. I'm making the best of this life I've been given here on earth.
God doesn't expect us to take this journey alone. And I won't. Sure, I have goals for myself, my family, and my children but that doesn't mean I don't struggle in reaching those goals. And when I do, I'll hand them all over to God.
Life is handing me lemons and I will make lemonade because life is what you make of it.
Life is beautiful even when the road is bumpy and curvy. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with the life that I have. For being my rock to lean on when I am weak. And for just making life beautiful.
I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.

Life is good here in the Pollock household. Busy, overwhelming even, but good. Jaelyn is loving preschool and Finlee is still a busy bee. Matt and I are managing through school and just enjoying our girls and the life that we've been given. So thankful for each one of them. I love my little family of four!
