Egg Hunt with Friends

We got together with friends this past Sunday for an Easter Egg Hunt and a picnic. It was a lot of fun to meet up with friends to celebrate what Jesus did for us!

My Girls

My girls. They're growing too fast. I love watching them play together. And I love being their mom.

I love this picture. I love seeing how much they really do love each other!

Finlee, my sweet baby. I asked her today if she was my "big girl" or my "baby". And she said, "..your baby." And I knew she was exactly right. :)

So sweet and cute!

We love watching them both grow and learn. Its fun to learn and grow as parents right along with them. So blessed to have my girls and I can't wait to add a boy to the mix. No matter how challenging, I know that I will love being a mom to three wonderful children.

And we can't forget our first boy, McCoy.

We love him too. :)

Happy Spring to Our Friends!

I love Spring! We can open the windows, air out the house, and play outside. We decided to wish our friends a Happy Spring by making them a craft and delivering them to their houses today! I wanted to share our lollipop flower pots.  

We started off with 7 colorful koozies for the friends that we decided to deliver to.

I found these cute wooden Spring signs to add to our craft.

We cut out hearts and circles to form the flowers.

Four hearts and one circle to make each flower.

Here are the flowers!

We filled each koozie with Tootsie Rolls.

All the completed flowers.

We topped the Tootsie Rolls with green grass.

And added a bow to the koozie.

After punching a hole in the center of the flower, we stuck a dum-dum sucker through the hole to finish off the flower and add the stem.

We wrapped each "stem" with pipe cleaners to be able to fit them into our koozies.

We added our Spring Signs and a note to wish our friends a Happy Spring!

Jaelyn and I had a lot of fun delivering our goodies to our friends! We hope they know how special they are to us!

Block Building Table

We hit up a few garage sales this weekend. I have been on the search for a table and chairs set for the girls. All of which I found, cost way more than I wanted to spend. When we first started out, we didn't have much luck then we went to a sale at a local business where I found this table:

A table for building blocks on! The library has one and I was going to try to make one until I found this one!

Both Jaelyn and Finlee love it! It gets better though! I only paid $2.

 (The ones I found in store, were selling for around $60-$80.)

It even flips over to a dry-erase board/hard surface for coloring, eating, tea parties, and whatever else we want to use it for!

26 Weeks!

I am 26 weeks preggo today! Only around 13 weeks to go!

I am just now hearing that people can see I am pregnant. A lot of people have been telling me in the past few weeks that I don't even look pregnant, which can be hard to hear for a mom who wants to get past the "chubby" stage. :)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 26 Weeks

Size of baby: Chaseton is the length of a certain kind of cucumber that I've never heard of. Around 14 inches. They do measure him at my specialist appointments!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not sure but I'd guess a few pounds...I'm terrible about keeping track. Matt and I have been trying to figure it out but we aren't too sure.

Maternity Clothes: Maternity jeans and pants but I can wear everything else regular.

Gender: Boy! Chaseton Matthew. :)

Movement: He moves a lot! I love feeling him move and I love sharing his kicks and movements with Matt too!

Sleep: Sleeping is okay right now. Better than most pregnant moms I suppose. :)

What I miss: Just feeling normal. I wish I had normal emotions. But if I'm going to share my body, I would prefer it to be with a sweet new baby.

Cravings: Ice cream (anything strawberry).

Symptoms: Tired, moody, emotional, and excited!!

Best Moment this week: Hearing Matt talk about our "son". It's so weird that we're having a boy! We can't wait to meet him. I also love hearing Matt's excitement. He told me that he is looking forward to holding a baby again and I love that. Having my husband love his babies as much as I do, melts my heart. I am also loving preparing for him to arrive. Matt and I have had a lot of time together to prepare for him and I love spending our time together doing just that. And I also love feeling him move so much!

I thought I would share a few pictures from his specialist sonograms in today's post. He changed a lot in just a few weeks! Its great being able to see him more often in this pregnancy-although I could do without the extra added stress of wondering how he's doing.

The next two pictures are from when I was just over 25 weeks pregnant, so just last week.

He's still a boy! :)

This is his face as if he is looking at you. If you look at the picture sideways, you can see his eyes, nose, and mouth. We joke because he looks like a little old man.

My appointments have been going very well. I am so thankful! My titer counts are staying low enough and Chaseton seems to be healthy so far. They did say that his tummy was measuring small and that I need to eat more so I think I can handle that. All prayers are still appreciated, though.

Crafting for Chaseton: Wall Decor

I've been working hard to try and make Chaseton's room something that he can grow with. We've never really had an opportunity to fully decorate with any of our babies (because of apartment living) so I am taking advantage of having my own home this time around. It has a been a lot of fun decorating and shopping for a boy. Although I feel it is more natural for me to shop and plan for girls, Chaseton has been a lot of fun too!

When deciding what to put on his wall, I knew that I wanted to personalize it for him. We ended up deciding on wall vinyl. We orded a big, dark brown "C" to go above his crib with his name proudly displayed with it.

I love how it turned out! It looks great with his furniture. I can't wait to show him!

I also wanted to show our inspiration for the paint colors that we chose for his room. We knew we wanted to do sports but we wanted to make it unique. We chose these three plaques to brainstorm off of.

I love them! I think they are classic and modern looking. :)

There is so much more to show about his room that I can't wait to reveal. We're almost done!
