Graduation Weekend

In the Pollock family, we had three graduations in a one week period; Matt, Jaelyn, and Michaela. This past weekend, we celebrated Michaela's high school graduation with family. All of Matt's siblings, grandparents, and even some of his family from up north came to celebrate with us. Below are some (yes, some) of the pictures that were taken from our long, but fun-filled, weekend!

We always make time to swim at Grandma's!

We teased Melissa that she must not let Scott sleep at home. He was tired!

Our nephew Taydem. We found out that day Taydem is going to be a big brother to a baby boy!

He didn't want out!

Matt's Uncle Skeeter. When I met him for the first time, he followed me around with a camera. I was returning the favor. :)

Matt's cousin Niki and Finlee.

Melissa and Chaseton

Matt's Aunt Cathy and Uncle Skeeter.

The graduate, Michaela, and her friend.

Matt's sister, Jamie, and her boyfriend, Robbie.

Taydem

I love that the girls were able to see cousins that they don't normally get to see. This is the girls with their cousin Selena.

Still following him around.... :)

Matt's mom and I worked really hard on Michaela's graduation present. Here she is opening it.

As you can tell by her tears, she loved it!

A picture quilt of picture from her life.

Love from her mom.

Taydem and his dad, Michael...Matt's brother.

Grandpa Jerry

I gave Taydem a bath!

He has grown so much! Matt and I wish he lived closer!

Selena, Jaelyn, Finlee, Taydem, and Jordan.
Jordan was Matt and I's flower girl when we got married six years ago and she is still just as sweet as she was back then!

Her cake..yum!

The graduate at her party.

Chaseton had been sick all weekend. He finally started feeling better just before we had to leave for home!

the Carnival

Jaelyn loves to go to the carnival. She asks over and over again when its going to be in town and when it finally arrives, she can't wait to go! We've made it a tradition with some good friends to go to the carnival everytime we see it taking over the parking lot of the mall (usually once a year). Everytime the rides and booths begin to set up, its just a known fact that we'll be making arrangements to take the girls there as soon as we can. They love our girls and its a lot of fun to have a special reason to get together.

Matt was such a good sport and rode every ride with the girls while I stayed back with Chaseton.

They will grow up to love big roller coasters!

Chaseton was so patient and loved watching all the people around him.

Preschool Graduation

Jaelyn is officially a preschool graduate! Jaelyn attended preschool at Creative Play for two school years. The teachers at Creative Play had a huge impact on Jaelyn and I am so glad that we took a step and enrolled her when she was three-years-old. Jaelyn has grown and changed so much since attending Creative Play. The teachers will never know how much they are loved by our family!

Jaelyn's Class

Jaelyn is standing by Skyler. They ended up being on the same T-Ball team this year and have become great friends!

The Class of 2025!

Jaelyn with her Diploma.

This is Brecken. I use to watch her when she was just a baby and she ended up being in Jaelyn's class!

Jaelyn with her flowers that her daddy gave her.

This is Mrs. Girdler. Jaelyn and her had a very special relationship. We gave each of the teachers a flower that we planted with a pinwheel and a special note.

We celebrated afterwards with Jaelyn's lunch of choice, Wendy's!

I can't believe Jaelyn will be enrolling in Kindergarten in less than three months!
